Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji live fight updates, results, highlights from 2022 boxing exhibition

When Floyd Mayweather fights, regardless of the situation, people tune in in droves to watch him. The same applies in exhibition bouts. Mayweather’s next fight will feature a different audience compared to what he is used to, as he will fight YouTuber Deji in an exhibition on November 13.

The Hall of Famer has nothing to lose. He will be featured on a known platform (DAZN) and will make about $20-$30 million for the fight. He is also looking to have fun while showing fans something they will never forget.

“I’m just glad that we’re able to come together and put another great event together for the fans,” Mayweather stated. “I’ve been here so many times as far as doing big fights, and it’s all about entertainment. That’s what you’re getting on November 13.”

This will be Mayweather’s fifth exhibition fight since retiring in 2017. He beat young kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa via TKO, and fought Logan Paul and Don Moore in non-scored bouts. In his last fight, Mayweather beat Mikuru Asakura via TKO.

“I always want to encourage people to never give up. I was a guy who people always doubted,” Deji stated. “But I made sure that I worked hard and carried on, because I’m never going to give up. I want to show Floyd that I’m really bringing something to the table with this fight.”
