GE Debuts Smart Mixer That Switches Off When Your Dough Is Ready

The home goods manufacturer GE Appliances has unveiled a new mixer embedded with smart technology that can automatically shut off when your dough is ready. The GE Profile Smart Mixer with Auto Sense(Opens in a new window), which starts at $999, is available exclusively at Crate & Barrel and features a built-in smart scale that can precisely weigh ingredients in the mixing bowl.

The mixer’s technology also ensures that changes in texture and viscosity are actively monitored through motor torque feedback and the Smart Mixer is also voice controlled(Opens in a new window) through Alexa and Google Home.
