A ghost hunter has been warned to “get out” of an eerie church in a chilling paranormal encounter, it has emerged.
Andy Pollard, who is also known on YouTube as the Yorkshire Ghost Guy, claims that a phantom recently warned him to “get out” of a haunted British monastery.
The ghost hunter, who claims to have video and audio footage of the phantom, experienced the scary encounter while walking around Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds.
Leeds Live reports how the ghost hunter went to explore the building during an afternoon when it was “well lit” and took a Safe Range EMF meter with him.
The meter detects electromagnetic fields by using a bright LED array on a tiny device going from green to red depending on strength.
It is also known as a K2 machine and is similar to a Geiger counter which is used to detect nuclear waste.

While Mr Pollard was walking around the haunted monastery, he claims that he detected the “strongest ever” recordings he had seen on the meter.
The ghost hunter, who began investigating ghosts after his father died in 2003, said: “I arrived mid afternoon so it was still light. It was my first visit to the Abbey and I wasn’t disappointed.
“After a brief walk around the grounds I began my investigation in the Chapel House – it was here that I was lucky enough to capture some of the strongest K2 responses I have ever recorded.
“Straight away the responses started and they were really strong, this is odd because a lot of the time on investigation I capture very little or no activity on the K2.

“This was made all the more strange because to the best of my knowledge there is nothing in the chapel house that could affect my readings – no wires or power source.”
“I came away with a few odd audio clips but not that many, I often find that on investigation it’s either one or the other, audio or visual.”
According to Andy, one of the voice recordings he captured has audio footage of something telling him to “get out”.

He now plans to return to the abbey to explore further.
However, this is not the first time the Yorkshire Ghost Guy has had a paranormal experience.
Yorkshire Live reported in November 2022 that Mr Pollard captured a ghost saying “I have stabbed her” on his audio equipment whilst exploring Spofforth Castle in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
He said: “A recent visit to Spofforth Castle in Harrogate, North Yorkshire proved rather intriguing.
“Not heard at the time, I believe that a woman clearly says ‘I have stabbed her’. I captured this on audio but only heard it during playback.”
He also claims to have encountered another paranormal activity while on a visit to Matlock in Derbyshire.
On the trip, he captured a flying light that moved past him at speed, and he believes that it was a ghost.
