Giants vs. Cowboys final score, results: Dallas offense sparks team to comeback win on Thanksgiving Day

The Cowboys and the Giants were playing for second place in the NFC East on Thanksgiving Day, but it was Dallas that emerged with the win.

The Cowboys rode a second-half offensive explosion to a 28-20 victory over the Giants. Dallas trailed 13-7 at the half, but it scored 21 unanswered points on its first three post-halftime drives to pull away from the Giants.

New York made the final score look closer when Richie James scored with eight seconds remaining in the game, but in truth, it was a resounding win for Dallas.

Quarterback Dak Prescott put forth a strong effort in the contest, completing 21 of 30 passes with two touchdowns. He had two interceptions and a turnover on downs in the first half, which is part of why the Cowboys scored just seven points in the opening frame, but he elevated his play after halftime to earn the win.

Prescott has now won 10 straight starts against the Giants. Dallas had defeated New York 23-16 in a Week 3 meeting earlier in the season, and now, it owns the head-to-head tiebreaker over its divisional rival in the NFC playoff race.
