If you hate Gmail’s new look and have been enjoying the old interface for the past few months, unfortunately your time is up!
The new user interface Google introduced for Gmail earlier this year will become the standard experience(Opens in a new window) for the service before the end of the month, with Google confirming there is “no option to revert back” anymore.
The new look was announced back in January and followed by an opt-in for users to test it in February. By July, the updated user interface had rolled out to all users, but if you hated it there was an option to roll back to the old design.
With the new design now mandatory, anyone opting to stay with Gmail rather than finding an alternative can start to take advantage of the integrated Gmail, Chat, Spaces, and Meet view on the left side of the window (assuming you have Chat turned on). It’s also possible to customize the view based on the apps you deem the most important.

If the old interface is still visible to you, it won’t be for much longer. Google begins the rollout to all domains on Nov. 29 and there’s a maximum of 15 days before it will become visible.
