If you’re a horror fan, it’s hard to ignore the Scream series. And with rave reviews and a franchise-best opening weekend, Scream VI is definitely a hit. If you haven’t seen any of the previous movies—or simply want to catch up before heading to the theater—it’s easier than ever to stream them.
The Scream movies are spread out across several streaming services, so you’ll need a subscription to Paramount+ or accounts with free services Pluto TV and Tubi for a complete marathon. Here’s how to stream all the movies and even the television series.
Scream (1996)
Inspired by the 1990 Gainesville Ripper murders, Scream takes place one year after the brutal murder of Casey Becker: Her classmate Sidney Prescott (played by Neve Campbell) finds herself being stalked by a masked, knife-wielding killer. Rounding out the cast are Courtney Cox (as Gale Weathers), David Arquette (as Dewey Riley), Matthew Lillard, Rose McGowan, and Drew Barrymore in roles that launched several careers.

Scream 2 (1997)
After two college students are stabbed at a showing of the (aptly named) movie “Stab,” Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers realize they have a copycat killer on the loose (that’s Ghostface, who gets stabby in all the sequels, too). Cue the hunt to find a killer before the murder spree continues. Campbell, Cox, and Arquette return for Scream 2, joined by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jamie Kennedy.

Scream 3 (2000)
Scream 3 follows a killing spree on the set of “Stab 3.” Although Gale Weathers is back on the scene, only Sidney Prescott can unlock the clues and find the killer. Campbell, Arquette, and Cox return yet again, with Patrick Dempsey, Scott Foley, Parker Posey, and others joining in on the fun.

Scream 4 (2011)
Years after the events of the first film, Sidney returns to the sleepy town of Woodsboro as a stop on her self-help book tour. As she reconnects with old and new friends, Ghostface also returns—and reconnects with his first love, killing all in his path. Campbell, Arquette, and Cox are joined by Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, and Rory Culkin for Scream 4.

Scream (2022)
Over two decades have passed since Ghostface began his killing spree, and the masked murderer is once again targeting teenagers, in Scream—yes, that’s the same title as the 1996 original. At the center of the murders lies a deadly secret, and Sidney, Gale, and crew are back on the case to stop him. Campbell, Arquette, and Cox are joined by Melissa Barrera, Jack Quaid, and Jenn Ortega.

Scream VI (2023)
