For his first tip he says to turn your shower into a steamer so that if there are any clothes that need hanging up, the steam from the shower will get rid of any creases in the clothes.
“When you travel, your clothes are normally folded and placed inside your bag. Allow the steam from the shower to eliminate the wrinkles by hanging your clothes in the bathroom,” he explained.
The second of his hacks involves putting any dirty shoes from a day exploring or hiking into the shower cap in the room to avoid getting anything from your dirty shoes into the room, or in your suitcase when packing to go.
“Hiking, rainy walks, and sandy toes are all part of the vacation experience. Put your dirty, wet, or salt-water-soaked shoes in the shower caps that come with your room,” he explained.
He also says that a coffee maker which comes with the room could be useful for preparing other things, such as boiling water to make that morning bowl of porridge.
His next tip could be a lifesaver for all of us who may forget shaving cream when we go away, he said that the conditioner in the room is perfect and will leave your skin feeling very soft as well.
For his final tip he advises that you use your hangers to stop the light bursting through the blinds in the morning.
He explained: “Clip the curtain gap closed with the clips you’d normally use for slacks or a skirt. You’ll be well on your way to becoming a morning person after a decent night’s sleep.”
So the next time you are in a hotel room remember these savvy tips to make your time easier.
