Signing with Matchroom Boxing in 2016, Dillian Whyte is ready to compete in a major fight on the DAZN platform. The former interim WBC heavyweight champion will have a chance to showcase his skills to the world on November 26.
“The Body Snatcher” faces the undefeated Jermaine Franklin inside the OVO Arena Wembley in London.
Franklin, 29, has a chance to prove to the world he can take down elite competition. The man with 14 wins via knockout has to get past the 34-year-old Whyte.
Coming off a loss against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in April, Whyte is looking to make a statement against the undefeated Franklin.
“You know, when you’re undefeated, you have an aura of invincibility about you,” Whyte said to Matchroom Boxing, via Boxing Scene. “I think he genuinely believes that. He’s hungry. It’s really hard to defeat an undefeated fighter. “I want to win in style. I’m going to press and try to knock him out.”
