The second women’s singles semi-final of the 2022 US Open will see Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka do battle at Flushing Meadows.
Swiatek has never made it this deep at the US Open before with the world number one chasing her second Grand Slam title of the year.
Sabalenka, meanwhile, has fallen short in her past two Grand Slam semi-finals and was defeated by Leylah Fernandez at this stage of the same tournament in 2021.
Ons Jabeur awaits the winner of this match in the final on Saturday (local time) after beating Caroline Garcia 6-1 6-3 in their earlier semi-final.
