The Jedi Order may have collapsed, but hope lives on in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Respawn’s 2019 action-adventure Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Set between Episodes III and IV, Survivor tasks your with, well, surviving as Jedi Knight Cal Kestis in a galaxy that’s hostile toward his kind. This is one of the biggest games slated for early 2023, but can your PC handle this much Jedi action?

Why the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Hype?
Any Star Wars product has a certain amount of hype. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has lightsabers, droids, Force powers, and alien planets. For many people, that’s more than enough. The brand is so powerful it makes you forgive everything from bland protagonists to mediocre Disney+ streaming shows.
However, more sophisticated players should be excited because this is a sequel to arguably the best recent Star Wars game. Fallen Order blended Dark Souls-like combat, Metroidvania exploration, Uncharted-like spectacle, and character-focused storytelling. It reminded us that developer Respawn can not only pull off multiplayer masterpieces like Apex Legends, but also a satisfying single-player campaign. Here’s hoping Survivor continues the streak.
