Cheese Sauce.
The Jets walked out of Lambeau Field with a 27-10 win over Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Sunday, continuing New York’s ascent up the NFL ranks early in the 2022 NFL season.
Rookie cornerback standout Sauce Gardner almost left Lambeau Field with more than just a win, though. Gardner, who got his hands on a number of Rodgers passes during the game, also got his hands on a signature foam cheesehead, parading around the field with it post-game.
The cheesehead was ultimately knocked off by Packers wideout Allen Lazard.

When asked about it after the game, Lazard said that knocking the foam headwear off was all in good fun.
Asked about this in the locker room, Allen Lazard was good-natured about it, said Sauce played a good game. “It’s a cool name too. Sauce. I can’t even be mad.” https://t.co/d19k0laN7f

“Running off that field with that cheese on my head, that was a crazy feeling right there. I’m never gonna forget that.”

As it turns out, getting the (cheese) block knocked off wasn’t the end of the story with Gardner and the headwear. He would leave the stadium with the cheesehead, and even wear it on the team bus.

Later, Gardner even asked fans if they wanted to catch him stream on Twitch while wearing the cheesehead.
It’s early in the DB’s career, but Gardner has certainly earned his flowers, both from the Packers and from the league. Gardner notched his first interception in Week 5 against the Dolphins, and has drawn some of the Jets’ toughest defensive assignments. He even earned the illustrious (well, at least, notable) award of being named the NFL’s Rookie of the Week for his effort in Week 5.
Another Jets win in the land of fromage, gives Gardner plenty of reason to stay cheesin’.
