KSI vs. Swarmz live fight updates, results, highlights from 2022 YouTube boxing card

KSI will have all eyes on him as he attempts to fight two people in one night on August 27. Inside the O2 Arena, KSI will face Swarmz. If he is healthy enough, KSI will take on Luis Alcaraz Pineda right after.

A YouTuber and rapper, KSI has won and been nominated for multiple awards over the years. He started his boxing career with a TKO win over Joe Weller in an amateur bout in February 2018. He then fought Logan Paul in August of that year in Manchester. The fight ended in a majority decision draw.

Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing liked what they saw and gave KSI and Paul an opportunity. In a legitimate fight inside Los Angeles’ Staples Center, KSI beat Paul via split decision in 2019.

KSI was supposed to fight Alex Wassabi, but the YouTuber had to back out after suffering a concussion. His second opponent after Swarmz was originally Ivan Nikolov, but he was kicked off the card following controversial tattoos.

Swarmz is a British rapper who has collaborated with KSI within the music world before. He was featured in KSI’s Houdini single in 2020. Pineda (2-5) made his pro debut in 2017. After losing his first bout, Pineda won two in a row. He has since lost his last four. Pineda’s last fight was a unanimous decision loss against Marcos Rios Gonzalez in March.

Deji dominates Fousey, scores third-round TKO

Result: Deji def. Fousey via 3rd round TKO (1:28)

4:40 p.m.: Deji races out and smashes Fousey with a left hand. He is landing with alarming frequency. A two punch combination follows with a hard right hand that gets a standing eight count. Fousey is in trouble. Fousey’s corner throws in the towel. It’s over! Deji finally gets his first win as a boxer.

4:36 p.m.: Fousey having a much better second round but Deji still is finding the mark with his left hand. Deji is slowing down but sits Fousey down with a stiff jab. Deji is a brand new fighter and is cruising through two rounds.

4:32 p.m.: Deji has lost all three of his pro fights and is acting like it as he charges out his corner and clobbers Fousey with a combination in the first round. The crowd is fully behind Deji as he lands a left hand and follows with a right. Fousey comes back with a left hand and Deji responds with a right hook. Deji pops the jab well and lands again. Fousey is swinging in desperation but can’t find his target. All Deji after one.

4:19 p.m.: Let’s keep the judges out of the decisions from here on out, shall we? KSI’s brother Deji is up next against Fousey.

*This was a robbery*

4:05 p.m.: After an uneventful second round, FaZe connects with a right hand that dazes King Kenny early in the third. It’s been all FaZe through three rounds. But the big question is whether or not this fight goes the distance.

Sam Hyde outlasts IAmThmpsn, scores TKO in the third

Result: Sam Hyde def. IAmThmpsn via 3rd round TKO (1:28)

3:27 p.m.: IAmThmpsn is just winging punches. Hyde lands a hard right hand and it hurts him badly. Standing eight count. The action resumes and Hyde clobbers him again. IAmThmpsn is in terrible shape. The referee sees this and says that it is enough. Hyde gets a TKO in the final round.

3:25 p.m.: IAmThmpsn is as committed to spamming overhand rights as he is to leaving vowels out of his name. Hyde hasn’t done much but you have to wonder if he’s waiting for IAmThmpsn to gas out. Yeah, that’s it. Sam Hyd starts pressing the action at the end of the round and lands a few punches. Uh, I guess you have to give it to IAmThmpson? Who knows. I’m surprised this is still going.

3:22 p.m.: IAmThmpsn is just winging slow overhands right hands. The technique has left much to be desired from both. But IAmThmpsn’s commitment is enough to give him the first round. It ain’t pretty, folks.

3:15 p.m.: Up next is Sam Hyde vs. IAmThmpsn.

Deen the Great stops Evil Hero in the first round

Result: Deen the Great def. Evil Hero via 1st round TKO (2:52)

A trio of knockdown in the first round overwhelmed Evil Hero and led to the stoppage. The first knockdown was from a jab and the second cam courtesy of a counter hook. Deen the Great’s third knockdown was from a pull counter that ended the fight. The only thing that nearly ended Deen’s night was a backflip that didn’t quite get the rotation he needed.

3:00 p.m.: Up next is Evil Hero vs. Deen the Great in a three-round bout.

KSI lands a bomb of a right hand after a combination and down goes Swarmz. Swarmz is spinning in circles after he gets to his feet to get away from KSI. Swarmz survives the first but he’s in trouble.

SN Unofficial Scorecard: 10-8 KSI

2:39 p.m.: It only took about 40 minutes but KSI and Swarmz have finally made their entrances. Physically, KSI looks to be in tremendous shape. The fans are on his side as well. As for Swarmz? Well, good luck.

2:23 p.m.: We’re getting ready for KSI vs. Swarmz but every indication suggests that Swarmz has no idea what he is in for. It would be in KSI’s best interest to get rid of Swarmz quick and focus on the main event. Don’t play with your food!

2:05 p.m.: We are live! Whether you like it or not, the world is dialed in to see what KSI will do tonight when he faces two opponents. KSI will have to face Swarmz first before he takes on an actual pro boxer in Pineda. If KSI isn’t careful, this could end in disaster.
