ANFIELD, LIVERPOOL — Liverpool will be hoping to use the Champions League to bounce back from yet another disappointing Premier League result when they face Rangers.
Jurgen Klopp’s men played out a chaotic 3-3 draw with Brighton at Anfield over the weekend, prompting further questions over their credibility as title challengers.
However, they have already used European competition as an effective tool for producing a response this term, beating Ajax 2-1 prior to the international break courtesy of one of their most convincing performances of the campaign.
The Reds will hope to put on a similar show as they take on a Rangers side who have been beaten in both of their Champions League group games thus far.
