A man was left baffled when he looked up to the sky and saw something that was “letting off sparkles”.
Jamie Wentworth managed to reach for his phone in time and take a photo of the strange object.
Jamie, from Penn in Buckinghamshire, was in his back garden at about 5pm on Monday (August 8) when the unusual object caught his eye.
The video Jamie captured shows something floating around above the clouds, reports Birmingham Live.
The object moves higher and lower before disappearing in the footage.

Jamie said: “I was in the back garden and happened to have a look up and caught a glimpse of it.
“I can’t explain it, it kept appearing and disappearing, letting off some sort of sparkles.
“It was around for about 10 minutes coming and going before totally vanishing and not seen it since.
“I have tried everything to explain it but no luck as of yet.

“I’m just curious of what it was as I’ve never really been a believer of things until I saw it with my own eyes and captured it on my phone.”
BirminghamLive sent the footage to the Met Office to see if there was a logical explanation.
Dan Stroud, operational meteorologist, was quick to reply with his theory.
He said: “The object in the video doesn’t look meteorological in nature. It looks more like a rising foil balloon, catching the sun as it moves.”
It comes after a strange object was spotted in the sky above Bristol about a month ago.
The mysterious silver unidentified flying object seen in the sky left locals puzzled.
A local resident in North Filton snapped a photo the shiny object, which looked to have some sort of string-like detail hanging from it.
And while extraterrestrial enthusiasts will be encouraged by the apparent rocket-like shape in one of the pictures, there could be a more plausible explanation in the form of a weather balloon, or even a helium balloon which escaped from its owners.
In one of the images the object appears to have an S-like shape, which could potentially be a foil ‘2’ or ‘5’ shaped helium balloon which are a popular feature of children’s parties.
