The Matildas take on Canada in the first of two friendlies in Australia at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane on Saturday afternoon.
Both nations will be using the games to further prepare for the Women’s World Cup 2023 that will be held in Australia and New Zealand.
Canada are the Olympic 2020 gold medallists and beat Australia 2-0 in their last match at the Olympics 2016.

33rd min: Kerr flashes a cross through the six-yard box from the byline but Gielnik didn’t make the run early enough.
32nd min: Fowler floats in a great ball to Van Egmond in the centre of the penalty area but she can’t make clinical contact and the header is straight into Sheridan’s arms.
29th min: It’s an end-to-end game at the moment. Canada look like they have more variety in attack while Kerr is looking most likely for the home team.
27th min: CHANCE – Gorry plays Kerr through one-on-one with Sheridan. Kerr tries to go around the goalkeeper but the Canada No.1 gets a foot on the ball. Gielnik puts the ball over the bar as Sheridan scrambles back.
26th min: Gielnik whips in a teasing cross but Cooney-Cross just can’t quite get on the end of it.
25th min: Leon dispatches the free kick into the wall.
23rd min: YELLOW CARD – Polkinghorne fouls Huitema just outside the area. So close to a penalty. Free kick.
17th min: The Matildas have been pushing hard for an equaliser with plenty of attacking pressure, but no shots in the period.
12th min: GOAL CANADA – What a strike by Adriana Leon. She launches a shot from outside the area into the top corner. Great goal by the new Manchester United signing.

8th min: Been a hot start by Kerr. She is involved in everything.
6th min: SHOT – Kerr picks up the ball in space and from just outside the area, she curls the shot straight into the arms of Sheridan.
5th min: From the resulting corner, the Matildas get another head on goal but this time it dribbles wide.
4th min: SAVE – Van Egmond floats a ball into the box, Kerr heads on goal but Sheridan makes a superb fingertip save.
2nd min: Both teams are just feeling each other out early. Australis with the majority of the possession.
Kick-off: We are underway at Suncorp Stadium.
