The best meetings are short, focused sessions that don’t interfere with your work day too much, but Microsoft has other ideas.
As The Verge reports(Opens in a new window), from today Microsoft Teams added a number of casual games to the virtual meeting experience, which can be played with up to 250 of your co-workers (depending on the game).
The available games currently include Microsoft Solitaire, Microsoft IceBreakers, Microsoft Minesweeper, and Microsoft Wordament. More games are planned, although what they will be has yet to be announced.
Microsoft has been working on bringing casual games to Teams since June as a way of improving the meeting experience. Development is being handled by Microsoft Casual Games(Opens in a new window) and each game is available via a new Games for Work app present in Teams.

The games will only be available to enterprise customers who use Teams, but this could certainly change if the feature proves popular. However, I doubt it’s going to be very popular with managers who would rather employees focus on the content of a meeting than distracting themselves and other attendees from it.
