Mum shares savvy cleaning hack that banishes tough stains thanks to Home Bargains buy

The woman has gone viral on TikTok thanks to her trusty trick that helps remove tricky stains from white clothing – people are gobsmacked at how easy it is to transform dirty socks to make them gleaming

A mum has gone viral online after sharing a simple trick to get stains out of white clothes involving hot water and a product from Home Bargains.

Offering eager viewers a tutorial on how to achieve the whiter than white finish, TikTok user @ourhouse_tohome posted a clip which shows her kids’ muddy and stained white socks in the sink.

In the clip, she then plugs the sink, puts some boiling water in there and adds the secret ingredient – a product called Ace For Whites from Home Bargains.

The mum then leaves the items to soak for half an hour before they are ready to go in the washing machine.

Before throwing them into the washing machine, she adds some of her usual detergent along with another stain busting product called Oxi Stain Remover from White Stuff.

After their wash, the savvy mum showed a clip of the socks looking as good as new.

Many people were completely shocked that they returned to their original shining white colour, explaining that they couldn’t wait to try the hack.

Plenty of TikTok users were quick to show their appreciation for the nifty tip, with one person commenting: “This is amazing I never thought of this.”

Another person added: “This is what I do it’s the only way.”

While a third person wrote: “I love this!”
