Jodie Waddell, 32, might never have to worry about thinking of an ice-breaker again, as every message the mum gets on dating app Tinder is about her cheeky tattoo

An ex- Asda employee who got the store’s logo tattooed on her bum has revealed how she uses the cheeky design to woo potential dates. Jodie Waddell, 32, used a tax refund to splash out on the ink in tribute to the supermarket, as Fabulous reports. And now, having moved onto a role at Greggs, pals think she should get a steak bake or sausage roll on the other cheek.
The fun-loving mum from Edinburgh loves showing off the supermarket’s logo and uses it to help catch the eye of Tinder matches. And it sounds like the £90 design was money well spent, as it has even helped her to get free drinks before.

Talking of the tat’s success on Tinder, she said: “Every single message I get is about the tattoo.”
The mum added that she hopes it will be a great ice-breaker.
And it went down a treat with her old co-workers too, though she doesn’t expect it to help her get any discounts in-store.
Jodie did however enjoy free drinks after showing off the ink on a recent hen night.
She also proudly displays her tattoo on TikTok, where she posts as @jodiew1990. Following one video sharing “the things” Jodie gets asked on Tinder (unsurprisingly, people are keen to know if the tattoo is real), someone wrote: “ASDA tattoo?? lol.”

Luckily, the mum was only too pleased to help the confused commenter out, sharing a close-up shot of the logo. “Well… it’s asda price,” she joked in an onscreen caption.
The single mum used to work in Asda in Leith, where she was put in charge of the shop’s pizza department. And she has been a long-time fan of the “Asda bum tap” advert.
But she joined Greggs earlier this year as a counter assistant, prompting pals to suggest she should get another design, inspired by her new role.
She said: “Everyone keeps asking when I’m getting a steak bake or a sausage roll on the other cheek.
“I’m a single mum so I’m going to have to save up some money before I can do that.”
