1. The Bear (Hulu)
One of the most delicious shows on TV is back for a second season. Chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and his crew at the beef-sandwich place begin the process of turning it into a high-end restaurant.
2. Secret Invasion (Disney+)
The MCU has returned, this time featuring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, agent (sometimes director) of SHIELD. He has to shield the world from an invasion of shapeshifters who he once thought were his friends.
3. Hijack (Apple TV+)
While Jack Ryan keeps things rolling on the ground (see below), Idris Elba is manning the skies as Sam Nelson, a negotiator who takes a little mental detour during a flight from Dubai to London to talk down a hijacker in real-time, 24-style. This series lasts as long as a flight.
4. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (DirecTV Stream, rent or buy)
This movie won Best Animated Feature at the Oscars and stars not one, not two, but a whole slew of Spider-Men (and women, and pigs). It’s the best Spider-Man film ever, though Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 and the MCU’s No Way Home still swing.
5. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (Prime Video)
Jim Halpert has One Last Job in season four of this Prime Video series. In the show’s final bow, the titular character is now CIA Acting Deputy Director, so he gets to add government bureaucracy to the house of horrors he’s had to endure.
6. Silo (Apple TV+)
In the dystopian universe of Silo (based on the book Wool), humanity lives underground in—you guessed it—a silo. But everyone has been there for so many generations that they have no idea why or how they got there. They have been told that the surface of the Earth is uninhabitable. That’s an assumption a few are willing to test.
7. Evil Dead Rise (Max)
We’ve seen a horror renaissance lately, with Evil Dead Rise being one of the latest and greatest. This film is a reboot and continuation of the terrors experienced by Ash Williams when he found the Necronomicon in the old cabin from the original films of the 1980s (if you ignore the TV show Ash vs. Evil Dead) but moved into a decrepit apartment building.

8. Run Rabbit Run (Netflix)
In one of her first post-Succession outings, Sarah Snook stars as a mom whose young daughter might be possessed by the spirit of Sarah’s rabbit-loving sister, who went missing when she was seven years old.
9. Infinity Pool (Hulu)
A couple goes on vacation… That movie-description starter means either a rom-com or outright horror will follow. Since this one stars Mia Goth, of X and Pearl, you can make a safe bet on where this one is headed.
10. The Witcher (Netflix)
House of the Dragon isn’t the only fantasy series with terrible wigs: Geralt is back for season three of The Witcher, and “chaos is coming,” according to Netflix. This will be the last season for Henry Cavill in the title role.
