She explained: “I’m kind of in shock right now because I just got a group text from one of my bridesmaids who very recently got engaged.
“She is likely dropping out of my wedding because she is having her wedding the same week as mine.
“I’m pretty upset – very upset – but I wonder how other folks would feel and what other folks would do.”
Wanting to put the matter to rest and vowing to move accordingly, Cree sought advice from users online as she questioned their feelings regarding the matter.
“Does it make sense for me to feel how I feel?” She asked.
Taking to the comments, people rushed to share their thoughts about the controversial ordeal – and some users were evidently torn over the decision.
“She’s not your friend, she’s clearly in competition with you. A real friend would never,” one person claimed.
“She can literally have her wedding the week before or after yours…. Or just a different week in general. Your feelings are valid af,” a second agreed.
Another added: “365 days in a year and it has to be the same week as yours. Absolutely valid.”
On the other hand, a different user penned: “I feel like I would be okay with this but everyone is different and your feelings are valid so please remember that :).”
