A woman is fuming with her neighbour as he constantly comes over to speak to her when she is in her garden, leaving her anxious about going out of her house.
The pair had got on well as neighbours without much drama between them and had always said hello in the past but now she is concerned by his behaviour which she deems to be ‘creepy’.
Taking to the ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’ forum on Mumsnet, the woman explained that she has a small front garden which she is only ever in to mow the lawn, but whenever she is there, the man next door suddenly appears too.

In the post, the woman, who remained anonymous, explained: “Any time that I am ever in my front garden, my male neighbour will come over right to my walk, to talk to me.
“Last time I was mowing my lawn, he came out of his house, came over to my walk and started talking to me about something.”
The woman went onto explain that most recently she was outside painting her wall in the front garden and he came over to ask if she could take in a package for him to collect later.
She said: “I didn’t want to but I said yes even though I didn’t want to, as I was nervous and trying to get him to go away. He will probably be over to me later looking for it, which causes more stress for me.
“I’m starting to be nervous every time I go out in my front garden, I kind of dash in and out as I know he will be straight over. He is creeping me out.
“I literally cannot go in my garden and do one simple thing without him coming straight over. It’s giving me anxiety.”
In response, many have been supportive and advised on what she could do to get him to step back as one person wrote: “Smile briefly, ignore apart from absolutely essential questions. Don’t look at him at all.”
While another said: “There’s no need for him to come over to ‘look for’ his parcel as they will leave him a card when it’s been delivered. I actually reckon there’s no parcel and he just wanted to talk to you.”
