TikTok user claims neighbour blocked car for 13 hours

Few things are as irritating as neighbours parking in your driveway or dedicated parking space, but things get even worse when their vehicle is blocking yours, stopping you from going about your day.

One woman was left seething as she claims her ‘inconsiderate’ neighbour blocked her car in for over 13 hours, because he wanted to park right outside his house. It left her whole day ruined as she couldn’t use her car to travel.

Taking to TikTok to complain about the saga, the woman, named Stacey Campbell, sarcastically captioned her video “The joys of Sunday parking issues” before angrily ranting about the neighbour’s parking.

Posted on the account named @Staceyjcampbell, the clip shows a black Mercedes blocking the route of Stacey’s white car, leaving her unable to move her motor at all as it was boxed in.

The footage then pans to show the Mercedes is parked right up on the curb, leaving the woman in an awkward position as it’s impossible to manoeuvre her vehicle out from the drive.

Stacey claims to have asked her neighbour to move his car, but he point blank refused, causing even more outrage.

The text over her clip reads: “I asked the man to move his car as he was blocking my car and had been for over 13 hours and he wouldn’t”.

Furious at the man’s behaviour, she added: “How inconsiderate are some people!!!!”

She then goes onto say that the man had parked outside his house, so felt entitled to park there.

Owing to the severe inconvenience, Stacey explained that her daughter missed “a play date” as well as church, leaving her incredibly frustrated.

People took to the comments section of the video to blast the man for his actions, with one writing: “Why is it usually people with expencive [sic] vehicles are more likely to be a******es?”

Many others urged the woman to call the police, which she replied to in the comments, claiming: “He got verbally aggressive, so glad he called the police as they told him he was in the wrong and to move it”.

Another person said: “Why can’t he park on the bit in front of the house then would be out of the way”.
