NASCAR lineup at Kansas: Starting order, pole for Hollywood Casino 400 playoff race after qualifying

Sunday’s race at Kansas Speedway represents opportunity for the NASCAR Cup Series playoff field.

Erik Jones’ victory at Darlington means that none of the 16 playoffs participants has punched their ticket to the Round of 12. That could easily change on Sunday.

Things are tight on the bubble at the moment, with only 13 points separating 16th-place Kevin Harvick from 12th-place Daniel Suarez. And with the way last week’s race went — Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch all were forced out with mechanical problems — that means the Hollywood Casino 400 is anybody’s race.
