A man has been left baffled after receiving a vicious letter in the post from his neighbour threatening to ‘kill’ a ‘mongrel dog ‘ who has been keeping him awake at night. However, the man, who is named Josh, doesn’t even own a dog.
Sharing his complete shock on Reddit, he said: “I received this well-worded letter in my mailbox this morning. Wrong neighbour – I don’t even have a dog.” The expletive-laden letter begins by reading: “Mongrel dog owner. Keep ya mongrel f***ing dog quiet.

“We f***ing told you before but now you better kiss that mongrel dog goodbye coz we have had a gut full of its barking day and f***ing night and we work shift work.
“Have some manners and keep it inside or else it will be shut up for good. Sick of it trying to attack us and anyone walking by. Dead mongrel dog will be ya fawlt (sic). No more warnings a***hole. Shut your f***ing dog up.”
While most users shared their disgust over the neighbour’s threats, others ridiculed his poor spelling.

One user suggested: “Correct the spelling errors, punctuation etc. Use a red pen and send it back to them.”
Another user added: “Fawlt. Haha, how does this spelling error even happen?”
A third user said: “Well it is the spelling of a person threatening to kill their neighbour’s dog, not university exam.”
It comes after an annoyed man sent his neighbour a comic strip-style letter to complain about them allowing their dog to bark at all hours of the day and night.
It warns he will call the police next time they leave their dog to bark and includes an extract from a dog-related law, which states owners can be fined for such behaviour.
The drawing, which has been shared on Reddit, shows a dog peeing, pooing and playing outside as well as being let back into the house by their owner.
All these pictures have been given a green tick of approval. However, one image, which shows a dog barking outside, has been marked with a red cross.
The post reads: “A letter my neighbour left in his other neighbour’s mailbox due to his barking dog problems.”
While some users slammed the man for his “passive-aggressive letter”, others praised his creativity and complimented his “great” drawings.
