NFL vs. NBA games on Christmas 2022: Schedule, start times for every football and basketball matchup

Sports fans are in for a treat on Christmas Day in 2022 with both the NBA and NFL in action.

Football fans will get to watch stars like Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady and Kyler Murray take the field, while hoops fans will get to see stars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jayson Tatum suit up on the hardwood.

The NBA will have its usual five-game slate, while the NFL has three games set to kick off on the holiday.

NBA Christmas Day schedule 2022

The NBA Christmas Day schedule is headlined by a matchup between the defending champion Warriors and Ja Morant’s Grizzlies, which has become a new rivalry brewing in the league.

We’ll also get to see Joel Embiid, James Harden and the 76ers take on Jalen Brunson and the Knicks at Madison Square Garden before a meeting between the last two Eastern Conference champions, the Celtics and Bucks.

The other two matchups feature Western Conference contenders with James’ Lakers taking on Luka Doncic’s Mavericks, as well as a meeting between Devin Booker’s Suns and Nikola Jokic’s Nuggets.

NFL Christmas Day schedule 2022

The NFL slate will start up with Rodgers and the Packers taking on Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins.

The slate continues with a heavyweight matchup between the Wilson-led Broncos and the defending Super Bowl champion Rams.

In the primetime slot, Brady and the Buccaneers will face off against Murray and the Cardinals. You can find the full schedule below.
