There are only two games of NBA action on Thursday but we’ll get to see two of the best players in the league go head-to-head.
Reigning two-time MVP Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets will travel to Oklahoma City to take on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder.
Jokic has maintained his usual production, averaging 21.0 points, 11.1 rebounds and 8.4 assists through the season’s first seven games. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. have returned to action, averaging 13.8 points and 18.5 points, respectively.
As for the Thunder, Gilgeous-Alexander has been on a tear to start the season. OKC’s star guard is averaging 31.5 points, 6.8 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game, scoring 30 or more points in four of his six games. Rising star Josh Giddey has also returned from injury, dishing out 10 assists in his first game back on Tuesday.
