A photographer has left viewers in awe after sharing insight of what snowflakes look like up close – people are claiming that they’re ‘beautiful’ and it’s bringing them to tears

As Brits continue to fight bitterly cold temperatures across the country, they’re continuing to see thick frost or a heavy blanket of snow from their bedroom window. While the instant reaction may be to tear apart the perfect layer with snowball fights or snow angels – it turns out you should think otherwise, as you might miss the magic of snowflakes.
In a now- viral video, a woman has shared what snowflakes look like up close and the discovery has left viewers “in tears” over the emotional revelation. Taking to TikTok, Erin Marke – who boasts more than 17,000 followers on account @ erinmariephoto – shared the insightful footage on the popular video-streaming service.
Taking a magnifying glass across freshly fallen snow, Erin left viewers in awe over the little-known delicate and beautiful details.
Since posting, Erin’s clip of snowflakes up close has surpassed a whopping 5.1 million views as people are enamoured by the footage.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “Isn’t it amazing how something so tiny can have such intricate designs?”

The discovery, which isn’t visible to the naked eye, reveals that snowflakes come in all shapes and sizes.
The “beautiful” flakes look incredibly intricate and fragile – you would never know what actually lay in front of you.
Flocking to the comment section of the viral post, TikTok users shared their shock to the hidden detailing – with some even admitting that they wanted to cry.
One person wrote: “It makes me sad that I can’t see them like this when they are falling. man it would be so magical.”
“Why does this make me wanna cry?” A second asked. “This feels like a grounding technique for people with anxiety. Thank you.”
A shocked TikToker penned: “DUDE I DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE ACTUALLY SNOW FLAKES.”
“Nature is so beautiful. Thank you God,” another said.
Meanwhile, a different user wrote: “We are no different than the snowflakes. We are all made different for a reason. God bless you. That was absolutely beautiful thank you for sharing.”
Another added: “You can’t convince me fairies didn’t make these.”
