As we step into December today, many households may be starting to crack upon that box of chocolates that have been sealed for the run-up to Christmas Day. Alongside the selection boxes, many are opening the doors to their advent calendars but are quickly getting stuck.
More times than we like to admit, we tend to get a little frustrated with the trays, which may keep the sweat treats sealed in a little too tight. Whether we’re desperately pushing at the back of the tray or breaking the chocolate into several pieces, it definitely isn’t the easiest option of choice.
Thankfully, a woman’s video has rocketed in views online after sharing a “mind-blowing” technique on how to enjoy chocolates without the hassle.
The woman’s demonstration, which was shared to TikTok, has surpassed a whopping 3.2 million views.
Taking to the popular video-streaming service, user @zosafunika demonstrated the proper way to retrieve chocolates from the tray.
The woman – who was tucking in a selection of Toffifee – pushed down on the tray at either corner of the chewy caramel with creamy nougat.
The small movement quickly made the delicious treat pop out of the tray with ease, which made it easy to pick up and to allow people to sink their teeth into the delicious snack.

“When you realise how it works,” the TikToker added alongside her demonstration.
Rushing to share their thoughts on the video, hundreds of viewers flocked to the comment section to discuss the new method.
One person exclaimed: “Mind blown!”
A frustrated sugar lover wrote: “The amount of caramel under my fingernails I could’ve avoided.”
A third joked: “I have learned to just dump them in a bowl lol cause once I eat 1 it’s guaranteed I’m eating the whole box in one sitting lol.”
Meanwhile, another shared a nifty method of their own: “I just push one edge of the sweet and it flips out.”
“Oh. I used to pop it from the bottom,” another claimed before they came across the new method.
