PGA Tour Championship leaderboard 2022: Live golf scores, results from Thursday’s Round 1

The 2022 FedEx Cup playoffs conclude this weekend with the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler separated himself further from the field on Day 1 of the tournament. He came into the day with a two-stroke lead under the Tour Championship’s format and left it with a five-shot advantage after shooting a 5-under-par 65.

Scheffler will be paired in Round 2 with Xander Schauffele, who moved into second place with a 66.

There’s plenty to look forward to Friday, but the immediate question is: Can anyone catch Scheffler?.
