Save for a third-set hiccup, ZUS pretty much had the game in control. Arroyo gave the Thunderbelles a six-point lead in the fourth frame from an attack off the block, 21-15. After two crucial errors by the Crossovers, the victors moved to match point.
Jules Samonte and Jasmine Nabor still managed two consecutive points before Gonzaga went all out on the game-deciding crosscourt kill.
