He might now be 80 years old, but Sir Alex Ferguson is still getting around.
The former Manchester United manager has turned up in Australia less than a fortnight after being on hand to congratulate Cristiano Ronaldo on his 700th club goal.
While it’s unclear exactly why Ferguson has ventured Down Under, he has linked up with his former player Dwight Yorke during his visit.
The former Red Devils attacker is currently into his first season as manager of A-League Men side Macarthur and recently won the Australia Cup.
Ferguson was a surprise visitor at Macarthur training in Campbelltown on Thursday where he was presented with a jersey in his name.

Speaking prior to the visit, Yorke revealed a recent run-in he had with Ferguson and how influential he’s been as he looks to follow in his coaching footsteps.
“I learned from the master in Sir Alex Ferguson. Funnily enough, he’s here in Australia at the moment, which is great,” Yorke told LordPing.
“I saw him yesterday and after he congratulated me on the trophy, straight away he told me to focus on getting the next one!
“It’s a pleasant surprise that he’s here in the country. I treasure the relationship that I have with Sir Alex.
“But, he has been great to me. I can’t talk for others, but he has always been there for me. To have that seal of approval from him encourages me to keep driving forward as a manager.”
Yorke has made an incredible start to life in charge of Macarthur with his side yet to lose across his first eight games in charge.
The club currently sit fourth in the A-League Men after three matches of the new season and face Sydney FC next up.
