Dynamo Kyiv vs. FC Olexandriya prediction, best bet
- Kickoff time: 8 a.m. ET
- Best Bet: FC Olexandriya double chance
- Odds: +115 (BetMGM)
- Prediction (Win/Draw): FC Olexandriya
Dynamo Kyiv are having a tough season, and while they beat up on two relegation candidates in their last two league matches, they still remain below the required levels when it comes to upper tier competition. They were soundly beaten by Fenerbahce at home in the Europa League last week and have struggled against the top half of the Ukrainian league. FC Olexandriya sit fourth and have ridden captain Maksym Tretyakov in the attack, bagging a brace last time out. Fade Dynamo until they figure it out against teams that matter. — Kyle Bonn
Rayo Vallecano vs. Celta Vigo prediction, best bet
- Kickoff time: 12:30 p.m. ET
- Best Bet: Rayo Vallecano to win & over 1.5 goals
- Odds: +170 (BetMGM)
- Prediction (Win/Draw): Rayo Vallecano to win
You may have seen that Rayo Vallecano clobbered Real Madrid on Monday. It was kind of a big deal. They didn’t just win the game, they dominated from start to finish, and if anything the 3-2 scoreline didn’t accurately do the hosts justice as to just how in control of the match they were — Madrid got goals on a silly penalty that required VAR and a stunning set-piece header from Eder Militao. Otherwise, Real Madrid were second-best in every facet of the game. Against Celta Vigo, if Rayo even give half that performance, they will win comfortably. Celta may find the back of the net, because Iago Aspas is in great form, but it shouldn’t matter, as Rayo have the firepower to overcome it. Over 2.5 goals is usually the play, but at +250, it’s not quite worth the added risk, and over 1.5 at +170 is just fine. — Kyle Bonn

Lazio vs. Monza prediction, best bet
- Kickoff time: 2:45 p.m. ET
- Best Bet: Monza double chance
- Odds: +130 (BetMGM)
- Prediction (Win/Draw): Draw
Take note: you will be seeing a lot of fading Lazio into and then out of the World Cup break. Quite simply, Lazio are fools gold. Sitting third in the Serie A table, the time is now to jump on this team fading from the title race. Their attack sits seventh in the league in expected goals, with a 19.14 xG total that undercuts their 25 goals scored by nearly six goals, a massive overperformance. Defensively, it’s even more bleak — they have conceded just eight goals, which is nearly EIGHT goals below their xGA. At some point, opponents will begin scoring in bunches. Monza are worth their salt — they beat a very bad Hellas Verona team comfortably, while recent losses to Bologna, Empoli, and even AC Milan came in tight xG battles. There’s goals in this game if you want to go that way, but we’re comfortable just sticking with Monza to get some kind of result. — Kyle Bonn
Manchester United vs. Aston Villa prediction, best bet
- Kickoff time: 3 p.m. ET
- Best Bet: Under 2.5 goals
- Odds: -110 (BetMGM)
- Prediction (Win/Draw): Man United
While Aston Villa sensationally blasted United 3-1 in Unai Emery’s managerial debut, it’s unlikely that a defensive-minded United side gets pipped in that manner twice. Even in that match, neither team managed over 1.0 xG in that match. In the early stages of the domestic cups, things can get weird with squad rotation, but here, expect the game to play out much differently than last. — Kyle Bonn
Yesterday’s picks
It only took Kyle one day to completely turn Tuesday’s disastrous slate on its head, as all four Wednesday picks come through for a huge return.
Sassuolo and Roma produced a scoreless first half, meaning that the two goals in the second half were more than enough to trigger the pick. Mallorca topped Atletico Madrid via a Vedat Muriqi goal, which is exactly how Kyle drew it up.
Finally, Schalke was the team to find the back of the net early against Mainz, which wasn’t exactly on the script, but it didn’t matter as Mainz was held off the scoresheet to trigger the final selection.
