You’ve already perused your 2022 music-listening habits with Spotify Wrapped or Apple Music Replay, but what about your gaming stats? Sony released(Opens in a new window) its PlayStation wrap-up earlier this month, and now it’s time to see how PC gamers spent their time on Steam this year.
Valve’s Steam Replay 2022(Opens in a new window) allows Steam players to view their most played games, the achievements they’ve unlocked throughout the year, and, (if it doesn’t give them a heart attack), see how many hours they’ve played this year, among other things. To access the feature, logged-in users need to head to New & Noteworthy on the menu bar and select Steam Replay 2022 in the drop-down menu.
Steam Replay counts all of your playtime for online games between Jan. 1 and Dec. 14 and presents it in an infographic style that we’ve come to know well from other roundups. Offline play and time spent “running tools” is not included. The wrap-up also shows your favorite genres and longest gaming streaks.
The data also lets you see how your gaming stats compare with the rest of the Steam community. Share your wrap-up with friends, share it via a public link that anyone can view, or, if it’s too embarrassing, keep it private.
The gaming platform will also reward gamers who view their Replay with a badge that amounts to 50 XP, which users can display on their profile.
