Street Fighter 6 appears ready to reclaim the fighting game throne. Capcom’s upcoming title has the fighting game community ready to bust out dragon punches and spinning bird kicks in new and exciting ways. Before the brawls begin, however, you must see if your rig can handle this highly anticipated console and PC game.
Why the Street Fighter 6 Hype?
Capcom’s Street Fighter is the grandfather of fighting games, one of the coolest and most vibrant video game genres. Street Fighter II pretty much invented the form, delivering expertly balanced fisticuffs and fireballs with an iconic cast of world warriors.
The Street Fighter series has a legendary reputation, but some games are better than others. Most recently, Street Fighter V was initially seen as a disappointment after Street Fighter IV started a second fighting game renaissance. Yet Street Fighter 6—with its bold new style, expansive new modes, exciting new roster, and competitive new gameplay systems—looks primed to rebuild the hype in casual and tournament play.
