Thursday Night Football FanDuel Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 11 Titans-Packers single-game tournaments

The Titans and Packers will kick off Week 11 on Thursday Night Football at Lambeau Field. The Titans are coming off a hard-fought 17-10 win against the Broncos last week, while the Packers snapped their five-game losing streak in a three-point overtime win over the Cowboys. This game has some good skill players on both sides, which is great news for NFL DFS players throwing together a FanDuel single-game lineup.

Here are the notable scoring settings for FanDuel single-game contests: The point total for the “MVP” is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn’t cost any additional money like the “Captain” in DraftKings Showdown contests. FanDuel’s default scoring is half-point PPR and four-point passing TDs, and there are no bonuses for 300-yard/100-yard games like on DraftKings.

FanDuel Single Game DFS Picks: Titans vs. Packers Week 11 Thursday Night Football

$60,000 budget, need at least one player from each team

MVP (1.5x points): RB Derrick Henry, Titans ($17,000)

The superstar running back will be a top MVP choice for many DFS players on Thursday night. Henry was held to a season-low 7.7 FanDuel points in last week’s win against the stout Broncos’ defense, but he should go off against the Packers in prime time. Green Bay has not fared well against running backs, allowing the 12th-most FanDuel points per game to RBs this season. Over the past four games, Henry is producing 20.4 FanDuel points per game, which is higher than his season average (18.8). Do not overthink your MVP selection for this matchup.

FLEX QB Aaron Rodgers, Packers ($15,000)

The star quarterback looked like the Rodgers of old last week against the Cowboys. Rodgers threw for three touchdowns for the first time this season and scored a season-high 19.36 FanDuel points. The Titans are susceptible to giving up big plays through the air, allowing 16 touchdowns to QBs this season (eighth most in the NFL). In five home games this season, Rodgers has 10 touchdown passes and is averaging 16.3 FanDuel points per game.

WEEK 11 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel

FLEX WR Christian Watson, Packers ($10,500)

The rookie wide receiver finally had his breakout game last week against the Cowboys. Watson got behind the Cowboys’ defense multiple times for three receiving touchdowns and 30.7 FanDuel points. The former North Dakota State standout should be able to build off this performance against the Titans. Tennessee has good young cornerbacks on the perimeter, but they are liable to give up touchdowns. They’ve allowed 11 touchdowns to WRs and the third-most FanDuel points per game to the position this season. With Allen Lazard drawing plenty of attention himself, it could open up big-play opportunities for Watson.

FLEX Packers DEF ($9,000)

Green Bay’s defense hasn’t scored a lot of points in DFS over the past four weeks, but it has found a way to get takeaways. The Packers have posted six interceptions and a defensive touchdown since Week 6. The Pack is also averaging 5.7 FanDuel points per game during that span, which isn’t bad for a defense that allows a good amount of scoring. If you are playing this defense, be prepared for them to give up 100-plus rushing yards to Henry. However, if Green Bay can apply pressure on Ryan Tannehill, they could create a few turnovers to go along with several sacks. Thursday games are often sloppy, so like the home D/ST in a cold-weather game.

WEEK 11 FANTASY PICKS: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em

FLEX WR Treylon Burks, Packers ($8,000)

Burks had three receptions (six targets) for 24 yards in his return from a toe injury last week. It wasn’t a significant amount of production, but seeing him with six targets is a good sign. The Packers allow the 10th-fewest FanDuel points per game to WRs this season, so Burks likely won’t be highly owned. We’re hoping Burks breaks a big play or gets a cheap TD and serves as a differentiator in our lineup.
