Titans vs. Packers final score, results: Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee halt Green Bay’s momentum on ‘TNF’

The Packers looked like they had started to find their identity in last weekend’s win over the Cowboys, but any momentum they might have gathered was lost Thursday night.

The Titans outplayed Green Bay on both sides of the ball, with their typical hard-nosed style of defense and an offense that finally came to life.

Ryan Tannehill delivered his best performance of the season, throwing for 333 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Most figured Tennessee’s offense would have to run through Derrick Henry on a frigid night at Lambeau Field, but Tannehill commanded the offense brilliantly while Henry was held in check on the ground.

Aaron Rodgers had the Green Bay offense moving well early, throwing two touchdown passes to Christian Watson and getting Randall Cobb involved in the passing game, but he also looked out of sorts down the stretch.

The Packers had chances to make it a one-possession game in the fourth quarter but couldn’t get in a rhythm despite the urgency.

Now, the time for urgency in Green Bay might’ve passed. The Packers are 4-7 through 11 games and face a nearly impossible path to the playoffs.

The Titans, meanwhile, are sitting pretty at 7-3. With the win, Tennessee extends its comfortable lead atop the AFC South and stays on track for a third consecutive division title. If Tannehill can play anything like this in January, the Titans will have a good chance of making a deep playoff run.
