It seems Jags QB Trevor Lawrence just avoided major injury.
The second-year passer, who has looked much improved over the past few weeks, found himself under a crunch of Lions defenders late in the first half.
His left leg appeared to get caught in the turf as he was sacked by Detroit edge James Houston. He immediately grabbed at his left knee, writhing in pain for a few moments before ambling over to the sideline. Lawrence walked off the field under his own power.

There was immediate concern from Jacksonville’s camp that something was wrong. Multiple Jaguars players circled around Lawrence on a knee as he lay on the ground. Meanwhile, Jags coach Doug Pederson went back and forth with the officials appealing for a flag on the hit, believing it to be a low blow.
Despite the initial worry, Lawrence trekked back to the locker room without much of a limp. Shortly after halftime ended, he made the journey back to the sideline, helmet in tow. He once again appeared to be in little distress.
