The WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will renew ties with old foe Derek Chisora in an all-British trilogy bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3. The 12-round bout will be broadcast live by BT Sport Box Office in the U.K. and by ESPN+ in the U.S.
In early September, Fury teased the British public by offering former unified champ Anthony Joshua a December world title shot. Joshua, who was just off a second points defeat to Oleksandr Usyk, accepted the challenge, but the projected U.K. super fight dissembled during negotiations.
When the smoke cleared, Chisora, who Fury outpointed in 2011 and stopped in 2014, had remarkably secured himself a world title shot against “The Gypsy King”.
“[Joshua’s] a coward,” Fury told Chisora during the official press conference announcing their third fight.
“It’s me that got you this £2 million, not AJ (Joshua’s management company, 258, represents Chisora). You should let me manage you.”
Chisora, who lost a world title shot to Vitali Klitschko in February 2012, seemed amused by the Joshua reference.
“AJ is living in Tyson’s head, rent-free,” said the challenger. “Tyson wakes up every day thinking about AJ and cannot do an interview without mentioning AJ.
“AJ is off living his life, doing his own thing. I don’t know why Tyson keeps talking about AJ.”
Well, this Saturday, it’s not Fury-Joshua 1, it’s Fury-Chisora 3.

Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora 3 prediction
Despite this being a PPV event, with an estimated crowd of 65,000 set to attend, one has to face the facts when you break down the matchup.
Fury, 34, is the unbeaten heavyweight champion of the world and the consensus best fighter in the glamour division. He’s defeated Chisora twice, both times with room to spare, and his enormous physical advantages and skills should be too much for the challenger.
“The Gypsy King” is coming off a one-sided sixth-round stoppage of Dillian Whyte, in April, and he looked as good as ever. On that kind of form, it’s difficult to see the Manchester man being remotely troubled in this fight.

Chisora, 38, has continually shown his ability to reinvent himself. The London-based brawler’s sporting obituary has been written more than once, but he has the enduring habit of pulling out a victory when he needs it most.
Even at this point, Chisora is coming off a revenge win over Bulgarian technician Kubrat Pulev, who outpointed him in 2016. The fighter known as “War” is an authentic fighting man and he’s mixed with some of the best fighters the division has to offer.
With all that said, we’ve seen this fight twice before and nothing has happened in the interim to suggest that it’ll be any different this time. Fury is too good for Chisora and will control every minute of every round for as long as the fight lasts. While Fury by knockout is the safer play, you can grab Fury in Rounds 7-12 at +260 which still provides some more value in an otherwise lopsided matchup.
Sporting News prediction: Fury by seventh-round stoppage.
