Truth Social Funds, a subsidiary of Trump Media & Technology Group, has formally filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for two new cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The funds applied for were identified as the Truth Social Cronos Yield Maximizer ETF and the Truth Social Bitcoin and Ether ETF.
The Truth Social Cronos Yield Maximizer ETF targets the price performance and staking income of Cronos ($CRO).
The fund aims to pass on to investors not only the market movements of $CRO, the native token of the Cronos ecosystem, but also the rewards earned through staking. This will offer both price appreciation and a passive income model simultaneously.
The Truth Social Bitcoin and Ether ETF will track the combined performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The fund is also structured to include Ethereum staking income, allowing investors to be exposed to both the price movements of the two major cryptocurrencies and Ethereum staking rewards.
Within the scope of the funds, CryptoCom is planned to offer digital asset custody, liquidity provision, and staking services.
ETFs can be purchased through Foris Capital US LLC, CryptoCom’s brokerage firm. However, regulatory approvals must be completed before all these processes can be initiated.
