Veering away from their usual team colors, the Lady Bulldogs rocked a gray-dominant jersey with gold letterings en route to their season-opening win over La Salle.
It seemed like the Lady Bulldogs’ new approach in their threads with their new tactician worked wonders as they not only beat the Lady Spikers but they also did it in dominant sweeping fashion, 25-23, 25-21, 25-18.
With fresh kits and tactician come the squad’s new approach to the game.

“We can’t just rely on some players, we need to work as a team and that’s the new system we’re trying to apply. Everyone should contribute with their roles,” said Meneses.
That’s exactly what happened against La Salle as NU banked on a collective effort in the sweep.
The star duo of Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon combined for 27 points. Camilla Lamina also made her presence felt with 20 excellent sets (13) while Nichole Mata and Erin Pangilinan scored 10 and seven, respectively.
