UFC 280: Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev weigh-in results

The last time Charles Oliveira attempted to make weight for a fight, he was forced to give up the UFC lightweight title. At UFC 280, he will look to make weight to become champion again.

Oliveira faces Islam Makhachev for the belt inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22. The co-main event will see Aljamain Sterling defend the UFC bantamweight title against T.J. Dillashaw.

Making his pro debut in 2008, Oliveira joined the UFC in 2010. He is 21-8 with one no-contest with the promotion. He is on an 11-fight winning streak.

“Do Bronx” beat Michael Chandler at UFC 262 for the UFC lightweight title, but at UFC 274, he missed weight for his fight against Justin Gaethje. Oliveira won the bout via submission, but he could not be called champion.
