The US Open will have a new champion when Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud meet in the final at Flushing Meadows on Sunday.
Spanish sensation Alcaraz reached his first Grand Slam final by beating home star Frances Tiafoe in five sets in the semis, while Norwegian Ruud is one win from his first major title following a four-set victory against Karen Khachanov.
With reigning champion Daniil Medvedev and second seed Rafael Nadal knocked out in the round of 16, the door is open for a fresh face to lift the trophy in a year when three-time winner Novak Djokovic has been unable to play because of his COVID-19 vaccination status.
Here’s how to watch the action as the final Grand Slam event of the year reaches its conclusion.
