Watching Stephen Curry bury 3-pointers from absurd range is nothing new for NBA fans, with his status as the greatest shooter of all time cemented.
With seemingly every major shooting record to his name, Curry’s ability to shoot from anywhere on the court has terrorized NBA defenses for the better part of a decade, not to mention the crowd he draws just to watch him hit warm-up shots pregame.

On Sunday night, in a video shared by Sports Illustrated, Curry extends his range to fullcourt, casually knocking down five makes in a row, before running out of the gym.
Just finished a shoot with @stephencurry30, this dude just can’t miss 😳🔥

The internet naturally went berserk at the sight of Curry’s one-handed shots from the other end of the court, but given the sheer degree of difficulty, the debate now centers around whether the video is real or fake.
Again, the degree of difficulty makes it hard to believe, giving off some Ronaldinho crossbar energy, but in the same vein, Curry is the only player that could have the internet convinced he made the shots.
If I had to pick a person to do this, we’ll it would be Steph, but this was some unreal great editing. I am not buying this. Nooooooo😂😂😂😂😂 https://t.co/5ia9enCdGB

The two-time MVP is having one of his best statistical seasons in 2022-23, putting up 30.8 points, 7.1 assists, and 6.7 rebounds per game on 51 percent shooting from the field, 44.1 percent from the 3-point line, and 91.3 percent at the free throw line.
….And 100 percent from fullcourt at practice.
UPDATE
After a few hours of internet speculation, the official verdict is in.
According to Janie McCauley of the Associated Press, it has indeed been confirmed by the Warriors that the video is fake.
Not real, per the Warriors. Looked amazing and fun, for sure. https://t.co/nUwVtqnrhv

Shoutout to the clean editing, which had plenty of people fooled.
That only feeds into the notion that Curry is the only player that could have us believing it was real, if only for a second.
