When is Portugal vs. Ghana at World Cup 2022? Updated TV schedule, time, odds

Cristiano Ronaldo’s more than likely final World Cup campaign will begin with Portugal taking on Ghana.

The World Cup is one of few trophies Ronaldo is yet to lift and he’ll be desperate to inspire his country to such a success before he retires.

Portugal are yet to make the final of the tournament but their path to the title in Qatar looks more than manageable.

Before they start dreaming, however, Ghana is the first hurdle they must overcome with the African nation no stranger to causing upsets.

Portugal vs. Ghana odds, prediction

It’s hard to look past Portugal in this one and they smashed Nigeria 4-0 just a week ago in a friendly to suggest they are ready to fire in front of goal.

Ghana were beaten 3-0 by Brazil in September but did beat Switzerland 2-0 on the same day of Portugal’s last triumph.

As such, both teams will come into this match full of confidence and a few goals look like a good chance of being scored.

  • Pick: Over 2.5 goals
  • Prediction: Portugal 3-1
