Where is ‘College GameDay’ this week? Location, schedule, guest picker for Week 12 on ESPN

“College GameDay” always likes to go to the biggest matchups of the week to preview Saturday’s college football slate. This week, they’re headed to one of the oldest rivalries in the sport.

ESPN is headed to Bozeman, Montana, to preview the Brawl of the Wild between Montana and Montana State. The game will be played at Montana State in Bobcat Stadium.

The Grizzlies currently hold the Great Divide Trophy after winning the game last year and snapping Montana State’s four-game winning streak. Montana holds the all-time advantage at 73-41-5.

This will be the 121st edition of the rivalry, which began in 1897. It is the 31st-oldest rivalry in Division I and the fourth-oldest among FCS teams.

Here’s what you need to know about this week’s “College GameDay” appearance.

Where is ‘College GameDay’ location for Week 12?

  • Location: Bozeman, Montana
  • Time: 9 a.m. ET
  • Matchup: Montana at Montana State

This will be the first time “College GameDay” has gone to a Big Sky campus to cover a game. It is only the 12th time the show has gone to an FCS campus and second time in 2022 after arriving at Jackson State for the Tigers’ game against Southern.

“College football fans all over America are about to learn what everyone in Big Sky country has known for a long time: the ‘Brawl of the Wild’ is truly one of the game’s greatest rivalries,” Big Sky commissioner Tom Wistrcill said in a release.

According to the release, the Big Sky conference campaigned for “College GameDay” to come for last year’s Brawl of the Wild, and continued to make a push for it to happen in 2022.
