Do you think the truth is out there — regarding aliens visiting Earth, that is? While we still don’t know for sure, we just got one of the most significant testimonies that we may not be alone in the universe.
Three whistleblowers, all former military personnel, testified to Congress today that the U.S. government knows more about potential alien life than it has disclosed.
David Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer; Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot; and David Fravor, a retired Navy Commander, appeared in front of House lawmakers. Each claimed that the Government is keeping Congress — and the American public — in the dark about unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).
That’s the modern name for what we used to call UFOs.
Not only that, Grusch alleged that the Government possesses samples of “non-human biologics” recovered from UAP crash sites. In other words, there are possible alien tissues lying in a cold warehouse somewhere.
Yet, we perhaps shouldn’t get all too excited about finally having confirmation that the aliens are among us.
“We are not bringing little green men or flying saucers into the hearing. Sorry to disappoint y’all,” Congressman Tim Burchett said at the beginning of the hearing, reported BBC.
Let’s take a closer look at what the whistleblowers actually told Congress.
Crafts and Biologics
Grusch, who served 14 years as an intelligence officer, represented Pentagon in two task forces investigating UAP until earlier this year. According to him, during his stint in the investigation, he became aware of a “multi-decade” program to retrieve and reverse engineer crashed UAPs.
Yet, the existence of this program has never been fully disclosed to Congress or the public, Grusch alleged. He said that when he tried looking into it, he was denied access to further information.
Grusch didn’t come to the hearing completely empty-handed, though. He claimed to have evidence from more than 40 interviews over the past four years that shows the U.S. Government has successfully recovered UAPs.
That means the Government could potentially have technology whose origins lie beyond Planet Earth.
When asked if he had ever seen an alien craft, though, Grusch didn’t confirm it — although he didn’t deny it, either. He said he wasn’t able to discuss such matters in “a public setting.”
Representative Nance Mace pressed Grusch further on what he’d seen. If the Government had a supposed alien craft in its possession, could it possibly also have pieces of the craft’s pilot?
According to Grusch, yes. He said that “biologics” were also recovered at some crash sites.
But were they human?
“Non-human, and that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge of the program I talked to,” Grusch replied.
Yet, Grusch did admit he had never seen an alien corpse with his own eyes.
Reporting Difficulties
Graves, on his turn, testified about an incident in Virginia Beach in 2014. At the time, his F-18 squadron detected strange objects in the sky.
The ex-pilot described them as “dark gray or black cubes … inside of a clear sphere,” according to CBS.
He also told Congress of another incident, where an unidentified object, between 5 and 15 feet in diameter, flew between two F-18 fighter jets. According to him, neither incident was investigated and the pilots had no way to officially report them.
Graves further added that pilots are reluctant to press authorities to look into such events. The reason is simple — they’re worried they’ll get branded as complete loonies.
“If everyone could see the sensor and video data I witnessed, our national conversation would change. I urge us to put aside stigma and address the security and safety issue this topic represents,” Graves told Congress.
“If UAP are foreign drones, it is an urgent national security problem. If it is something else, it is an issue for science. In either case, unidentified objects are a concern for flight safety.”
The Tic Tac Incident
Finally, Fravor recounted the famous 2004 UAP encounter off the California coast, known as the Tic Tac incident. Fravor and another pilot were flying above the sea when they detected an oval-shaped, perfectly smooth, and seamless object hovering above the ocean.
The thing suddenly darted upwards, reaching an altitude of 12,000 feet in almost an instant. Then, it sped off, only to show up again a minute later — but it had traveled 60 miles in that time.
“I think what we experienced was, like I said, well beyond the material science and the capabilities that we had at the time, that we have currently or that we’re going to have in the next 10 to 20 years,” Fravor said during his testimony.
We Want to Know More
So, what is the takeaway of this hearing? Do we have confirmation that aliens are visiting Earth?
Well, not really — and that’s not necessarily what anyone at the hearing was claiming. All three of them, however, were adamant that obfuscating facts about strange flying things in American skies is a risk to national security.
It makes sense, really. Let’s say the Tic Tac craft wasn’t an extraterrestrial space ship, but an incredibly advanced military drone from another country.
Surely you can see how having something like that poking about in U.S. airspace could be cause for concern.
For this reason, both the whistleblowers and Congress would like to see UAP incidents investigated more openly and in greater detail. Graves also called for a reporting system for pilots so they could avoid being labeled crackpots for talking about what they’d seen.
“We owe it to the citizens of this nation to make sure our government is transparent and accountable [on the issue of UAPS],” said Representative Virginia Foxx.
In the end, though, the hearing perhaps raised more questions than it answered. All we know for sure is that three people claim the U.S. government is in possession of something.
What it is and whether it’s from another planet, we don’t know — at least yet.
