“He is going to come back to practice on Thursday,” Kerr said. “He has been fined. He will not be suspended. I expect him to play Friday in our last preseason game and on opening night.”
Green, who has been away from the team since last Wednesday, is expected to play in their final preseason game against the Denver Nuggets on Friday, ahead of their opening night matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.

Kerr, who described it as the ‘biggest crisis’ they had faced since being with the Warriors, met with ‘key figures’ in the organization, including Green, Poole, Stephen Curry and General Manager Bob Myers, before coming to the decision to not suspend the veteran forward.
“It’s been an exhaustive process,” Kerr said
“We feel like this is the best way after assessing everything for us to move forward. It’s never easy no matter what decision you make in a situation like this. It’s not going to be perfect.
“This is the biggest crisis that we’ve ever had since I’ve been coach here. It’s really serious stuff.”
Last week Green got into a physical altercation with Poole at practice, before TMZ leaked video of the incident on Friday which saw Green punching Poole in the face, unsettling the team on the eve of the new season.

Following the release of the video, Green apologized for his behavior during a press conference, saying that he ‘failed as a leader’ and ‘failed as a man’, stepping away from the team in the aftermath.
“There is a huge embarrassment that comes with that not only for myself with the own committing the action,” Green said.
“But the embarrassment that Jordan has to deal with, the team has to deal with, the organization has to deal with and his family.”
