Wolves vs. Man City: Time, TV channel, stream, betting odds for Premier League match at Molineux

Manchester City will pursue their first away Premier League win since the opening weekend of the season when they travel to Wolves in the early Saturday kickoff.

Victory for Pep Guardiola’s side would move them to the top of the table, even if it is only for 24 hours until leaders Arsenal face Brentford on Sunday, but they have been held in their past two domestic games on the road at Newcastle and Aston Villa.

Erling Haaland’s late winner against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday moved him on to 13 goals for the season, with Bournemouth the only team he has failed to score against since City’s July Community Shield defeat to Liverpool.

Wolves were beaten 5-1 in the corresponding fixture as City closed in on the title last May, with Kevin De Bruyne scoring four goals, but they have previously been troublesome opponents for the Blues, most notably claiming home and away victories in the 2019/20 season.

Wolves vs. Man City predicted lineups

Diego Costa could feature after signing on a free transfer in the aftermarth of Sasa Kalajdzic’s ACL injury. Costa’s debut is most likely to come from the bench. He has two goals in six career appearances against City.

Bruno Lage’s side have only conceded once at home this season, although with three goals scored they are the division’s joint-lowest scorers.

Wolves projected lineup (4-3-3): Sa (GK) — Jonny, Collins, Kilman, Ait-Nouri — Moutinho, Neves, Nunes — Neto, Podence, Guedes.

Kyle Walker will be assessed after sitting out the Dortmund game, where John Stones played in the unfamiliar position of right-back in his England colleague’s absence and scored a rare goal from 25 yards.

Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez came off the bench during midweek to prompt an upturn in City’s performance and could all push to start along with the rested Ruben Dias

Man City projected lineup (4-3-3): Ederson (GK) — Cancelo, Stones, Dias, Ake — De Bruyne, Rodri, Silva — Foden, Haaland, Grealish.

Wolves vs. Man City betting odds

Since their double over City in 2019/20, Wolves have lost all four league encounters, conceding 13 goals.

This run, along with the prolific form of Haaland, who has scored more than three times the amount of goals Wolves have managed in the Premier League collectively, mean City are in their customary position of being heavy favourites.
