Woman left in tears after getting ‘criminal’ hair cut ahead of best friend’s wedding

A teacher was left wondering if she should shave all of her hair off after getting a haircut so “bad” people thought the hairdresser must have been trying to get revenge on her for an unknown reason

Most of us make an effort when attending weddings, as it is nice to look and feel your best for important occasions. But one woman who got a haircut before her best friend’s wedding was left wishing she hadn’t bothered – as she came out of the salon feeling terrible.

The problem: the hairdresser gave her a look completely different to the one shown in her inspiration photo. And when she shared the snaps to TikTok, people could not believe how horribly wrong the haircut went. Some were even convinced the hairdresser messed up on purpose, with one person going so far as to call the look criminally bad.

The wedding guest in question agreed it did not look good, as she made clear in her video posted as @foreverfindingx.

In the clip, the middle-school teacher explains she went for a haircut the week before her friend’s big day.

After showing the teacher rolling her eyes and grimacing in expectation of the reveal, the video then cuts to a photo of the haircut she asked for – and it was one she’d previously had.

In the selfie, the woman can be seen sporting a delicate bob, with her hair falling below her chin but above her shoulders, so as to frame her face.

The caption adds that it was completed by the same hairdresser she visited on this occasion. So you’d be forgiven for thinking the next photo would not look much different, but you would be wrong.

In the ‘this is what I got’ snap, the teacher is pictured from the side, revealing a much shorter style, with so many layers that most of her hair is different lengths, and some strands only reach down to her ears.

“RIP TO MY HAIR MIGHT MESS AROUND AND SHAVE IT ALL OFF,” reads the caption.

Adding to her verdict, the upset pal tagged her video “#badhair” and “#crying”.

Unfortunately, those who commented on the viral video – which racked up over seven million views – did not offer much comfort.

One person wrote: “This straightened my spine. I was prepared to come in the comments with encouragement, but I have nothing. Condolences.”

And another joked the teacher looked like “my Barbies when I gave them haircuts.”

Several people also thought the hairdresser must have known what she was doing.

“Girl did you cuss out her grandmama or something???” someone questioned. “That looks like it was on purpose.”

A similar comment read: “Did she think her boyfriend cheated on her with you or something?!?? This was revenge.”

Another person asked: “What happened? Did she die during the cut good lord.” And someone wrote: “Ma’am a crime has been committed.”

Thankfully, the teacher was still able to enjoy her friend’s wedding, as she revealed in a follow-up video.

Replying to a commenter, she revealed she styled and curled her hair for the big day, before clipping sections back. “I cried a few times getting ready but eventually just had to live with it,” she said.

And people were full of praise for her positive attitude.

“I think this is really cute. Doesn’t take away that she didn’t cut your hair well but you’ve done well with it!” said one person.

A second commenter agreed: “The cut was horrible, no doubt. But take about how u turned that into lemonade! It looks great for the wedding.”
