TikToker shows off the best brush for cleaning out blocked drains

If you’ve been putting off cleaning your shower plughole for a long stretch of time, you might want to reconsider. All sorts of unmentionables can get stuck down there, and could, over time, create a blockage.

With that said, you can understand why some people tend to avoid this unpleasant household chore. Clearing hair from a plughole is a pretty gross job at the best of times, but someone’s got to do it.

Luckily, a TikTok cleaning guru has recommended a fantastic hack for the job. The woman, who posts under the handle @ aestheticallyinhome, revealed the results from her bath plug and they are gross but oddly satisfying.

“They are so good but be warned for what might be stuck in your drain. Couldn’t believe mine! It is so satisfying,” she said.

If your drain is blocked, you absolutely need this brush, she insists: “I couldn’t work out why no unblocking solution were working and now I know why – there was so much hair down there”.

As she uses the amazing hack, the video shows the disgusting mound of hair the brush brings up.

It certainly had the desired stomach-heaving effect for many among the comments, including: “God have mercy. I actually vomited in my mouth. I would honestly gag.”

Most of the comments were impressed with the cheap cleaning hack, while remaining grossed out.

“Oh my god. I bought one after seeing this clip. All the hair pulled up was nasty,” one commenter wrote.

It works, said another: “I did this myself and took out all the gunk from the pipes and was kinda good.”

Others vowed to get it, but with a catch: “We need this but someone else will have to do it cos I’ll throw up.”
